Snow in Hotlanta...

And yes, it's taken us by surprise. There were people stranded for 24+ hours on our highways… the word "gridlocked" has been said every 2 minutes by news anchors for the past two days. It's just awful.

But pretty. Oh so pretty.

Mike likes to take his 4-runner out during times like this, you know, when everyone tells you to stay indoors because it's bad out… anyone else's significant other do the same?

Our boys LOVED the snow! Of course, with snow and ice, you have to be careful your dogs don't cut their pads on their feet - so make sure your checking your dogs feet after they've been out in the snow and ice.

If you know me at all, you know that I was out there long enough to take pictures… because let's face it, I HATE COLD WEATHER! But if it must be cold, it might as well be beautiful too!

T + P - Maternity Session

Taryn and I have been friends since 8th grade. Never did I think when we decided to skip school in 10th grade and got caught together, that I would be photographing such a special time in her life over 10 years later!
I cannot wait to meet this special baby boy they have named Easton William!

Yes, they are a beautiful, silly couple… and I can't wait to see that baby!

And for the record, Taryn still reminds me of how I conned her into skipping, because we all know she was very concerned about her test that day way back in high school…

M + D + C - Family Session

I think having so many returning customers is a testament to my customer service, my professional behavior, and my kick ass photography! 

That's right, the Child family is back! This time, they are leaving Atlanta (sad day) but off to bigger and better things in Florida! 

We know it certainly isn't my first shoot with this wonderful family (engagement and first family session), and I know it certainly won't be my last. 

Beautiful family, aren't they? I just love how that last shot turned out!

And we all know how I feel about that RED HAIR!

K + L - Guide Dog Foundation - Liberty First Birthday Session

My cousin Katie is quite a remarkable person. Amongst the time and effort she takes on so many things that are currently making the world a better place, she also puts her heart and soul on the line, and trains dogs for the Guide Dog Foundation in Athens, Georgia.

Liberty is her first Guide Dog. Liberty just turned ONE. What baby turns one, and doesn't get a cake smash photo session? Not this girl!

These photos were actually taken in my back yard. Yes, the lake is my back yard. Yes, we got mighty lucky finding this house.

Enough about the yard, back to the dog… YES, she wore that hat, and YES, she hated it!

We're Moving!

Yup… after months of house hunting, months of bidding and losing bids, and months of disappointment, we FINALLY WON A BID and BOUGHT A HOUSE!

There's still a lot to be done, and hundreds of hours of painting in our future, but we did it!

And we love it!

Emmett loves it, too!

Cambry Ann - First Birthday Session

I know for a fact that you were starting to miss this sweet face, so lucky for you, she recently turned ONE!

And of course I was there like the other times (newborn & 6 months) to capture the moments I live and breath for!

This girl is sassy, set in her ways, and knows what she wants! I had a blast shooting her first birthday party…

I guess I should have warned you ahead of time… she's pretty stink in' cute!
